Makapuu Lookout, above the famous bodysurfing beach at Oahu's eastern tip,
has wonderful views of the Windward side.

   

Makapuu beach itself is usually too crowded for good photography, but if you know
the place like we do, you can get some great shots.

Just to the north of Makapuu there is a small, more secluded
beach, where these shots were taken.
