We have a wide variety of styles of Hawaii
wedding albums to choose from. Your principal decision will be about whether
you want a digital or non-digital album, and that decision will be based mostly
on price vs. aesthetic considerations.
- Is price an important concern?
In this case you will most likely not want to choose digital for your Hawaii
wedding album, because digital albums are much more expensive than non-digital.
This is because of the many hours that it takes to compose the photo montages
that are used in digital albums. Prices start at $1995. for digital albums,
while the most basic traditional albums are included with some packages at
no extra cost.
- Do you want digital or film photography?
Digital vs. film is another decision we help you to make: click
here for a guide to choosing between digital and film photography.
If you decide on film, making a digital album involves the extra step of scanning
your negatives to make digital versions of your photos, which slightly decreases
their quality, and increases your costs, so normally if you choose film you
will not want a digital album.
- Is elegance of presentation your primary concern?
Then you definitely want a digital storybook album, because of the way you
can superimpose pictues on top of each other and add graphic elements like
titles and borders and shadows. A much less expensive option for your Hawaii
wedding album that would still give you some of these effects would be to
choose a traditonal album but have some of the photos in it be digital montages.

- What is the difference between traditional, simple,
and proof albums? Traditional albums include matts that let you have
more than one photo on the page, in various configurations. You can get them
in two sizes; 10" by 10" or 7" by 7". Simple albums only
allow one photo per page in a fixed format, but they are much less expensive.
They come in three sizes. Click on the link above for info on prices and to
see examples of these two types of album. Proof albums are the least expensive
option, with your photos tucked in to plastic sleeves. They are for 4"
by 6" photos only. Many of our photo packages include these albums at
no charge.
